Conical Burr Grinder
The Krups Grind and Brew Coffee Maker features a high quality burr grinder. This coffee maker has the capacity to brew up to 10 cups of coffee. The Krups programmable unit features a conical burr grinder with automatic Grind and Brew and it grinds the coffee to match the number of cups and the strength chosen. You can choose from five grind levels and three coffee-strength settings. The unit offers digital settings that control the coffee-water ratio, plus it provides a 2- to 4-cup aroma function for the proper brewing of small quantities. The brew basket lid closes automatically after grinding to prevent steam from reaching the coffee channel and grinder. Apart from this the other highlights include an anti-drip valve for the pause-and-serve function, water filtration, automatic shut-off, a high-quality 10-cup glass carafe, and a backlit LCD with clock and programmable timer.
