Recipe for cooking french toasted english muffins

French Toasted English Muffins4 eggs 1/2 c. half-and-half 2 Tbsp. sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring 6 English muffins 4 Tbsp. butter Beat together eggs, cream, sugar and vanilla extract or flavoring. Soak muffins - put uncut side down in mixture for 1 min.. Turn and dip other side to moisten. Stack muffins, cut side up until ready to cook. Fry muffins, cut side down in butter over med. heat until golden brown. Turn; fry 2 to 3 mins. more. Serve with maple or your favorite syrup.
