Granola4 c. oats 1 c. coconut 1 c. nuts 3/4 c. wheat germ 1/2 c. honey 1/3 c. vegetable oil 1 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring 1/2 c. chocolate chips (optional) 1 c. raisins (optional) 1 c. dry cereal (optional) 8 oz. dried fruit (optional) Mini marshmallows (optional) Spread oats on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for 10 mins.. Stir in coconut, nuts and wheat germ. Add honey, oil and vanilla extract or flavoring and stir well. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 25 mins., stirring several times. Stir in any of the optional ingredients that you like. Let cool thoroughly and store in a tightly covered container.
