Recipe for cooking pie filling coffee cake

Pie Filling Coffee Cake1 c. margarine 1 3/4 c. sugar 4 eggs 3 c. flour 1 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1 can pie filling, any flavor Cream margarine and sugar well. Add eggs one at a time. Mix well. Add vanilla extract or flavoring. Add flour and baking powder and beat in by hand. Spread 2/3 of batter into a greased 9 x 13-in. pan. Spread pie filling over batter. Drop remaining batter by spoonful on filling. Spread carefully over filling. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 mins.. Frost while still warm. Frosting 1 c. powdered\sugar 1 Tbsp. milk 1/2 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring Drizzle over warm cake.
