Recipe for cooking puffy french toast

Puffy French Toast

1/2 c. margarine
4 slices bread
1/2 c. milk
1 egg
3/4 c. biscuit mix
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Melt margarine in skillet on med. heat. With electric mixer, combine milk, egg, biscuit mix, sugar and cinnamon. Cut each slice of bread in half diagonally. Dip in batter, coating completely. Fry four pieces at a time until golden brown and puffy (about 3 mins. on each side). Sprinkle with powdered\sugar and cinnamon.

Serve with warm syrup.
