Apple PieBlend 1 c. sugar and 2 Tbsp. flour. Place one-third of this mixture over the bottom of an unbaked pie shell. Fill heaping with sliced, pared Gravenstein apples. Sprinkle over this the juice of about one-qt.er lemon. Pour the remaining sugar and flour mixture over the top. Sprinkle with cinnamon, and add a top crust. Bake at 450 degrees F for 20 mins., then reduce heat to 350 degrees F and bake another 25 mins..
