Recipe for cooking black and white pie

Black and White Pie

8 oz. miniature marshmallows
1 c. milk
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring
1 c. whipped cream
2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, grated
1 graham cracker crust
1/2 c. ground nuts

Put marshmallows and milk in top of double boiler. Heat until marshmallows are melted. Set aside to cool. When cool, stir in salt and vanilla extract or flavoring. Reserving about 1 Tbsp. of chocolate, fold in whipped cream and balance of chocolate. Pour into cooled graham cracker crust. Top with nuts and reserved chocolate. Place in refrigerator to set.
