Recipe for cooking Black Forest Cake

Black Forest Cake
2/3 c. whipped margarine
4 squares semisweet chocolate, melted
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring
2 eggs, slightly beaten
Chocolate curls (optional)
Mix margarine, chocolate and sugar. Mix dry ingredients and then add to chocolate mixture. Add water, vanilla extract or flavoring and eggs. Mix well. Divide batter evenly into 4 greased and floured 9-in. round cake pans. Bake at 350 degrees F for 15 to 18 mins.. Layer chocolate filling and cream filling between cake layers, ending with cream filling. Garnish with chocolate curls, if desired.
Chocolate Filling
1 1/2 bars German\s sweet chocolate
3/4 c. whipped margarine
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Melt chocolate in double boiler. Blend in margarine. Add nuts.
Cream Filling
2 c. heavy cream
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring
Whip cream. Add sugar and vanilla extract or flavoring.
