Recipe for cooking brownie ice cream pie

Brownie Ice Cream Pie1 1/2 oz. (1 1/2 squares) unsweetened chocolate 3 Tbsp. butter or butter replacement 1 c. sugar 2 eggs 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring 1/4 c. chopped walnuts 1 qt. pistachio, mocha or vanilla ice cream Cool Whip Shaved chocolate Melt chocolate and butter in top of double boiler. Cool slightly; add sugar. In a bowl beat eggs until foamy; add chocolate mixture and continue beating. Fold in nuts. Pour into greased 9-in. pie plate and bake at 325 degrees F for about 35 mins.. When cool, fill with ice cream. Freeze. To serve, top with Cool Whip and sprinkle with shaved chocolate.
