Recipe for cooking butterscotch pies

Butterscotch Pies2 c. sugar 9 Tbsp. milk 1 c. butter 3 egg yolks 2 c. milk 9 Tbsp. flour 2 baked pie shells Brown sugar, the 9 Tbsp. milk and butter in a skillet until as brown as you want it. Beat the egg yolks, 2 c. milk and flour. Pour into the skillet and cook until thick. Pour into pie shells. Top with vanilla-flavored meringue and brown in the oven.
