Caramel Apple PuddingPosted by Olga at recipegoldmine.com 4/21/02 5:06:31 pm This is delicious served warm and topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. 3/4 c. flour 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. milk 1 1/2 c. coarsely chopped peeled apples Caramel Sauce 3/4 c. packed brown sugar 1/4 c. butter or butter replacement 3/4 c. boiling water In a mixing bowl combine all ingredients, excluding the sauce ingredients. Pour into a 1 1/2-qt. casserole. Mix sauce ingredients together until sugar and butter are melted. Pour the sauce over the pudding mixture. Bake for 40-50 mins. at 375 degrees F. Serves 4.
