Recipe for cooking cherry almond cobbler

Cherry Almond CobblerServes 6 This is great served with vanilla ice cream! 1 (21 ounce) cherry pie filling 1/2 tsp. pure almond extract or flavoring 3 Tbsp. butter or butter replacement 3/4 c. flour 1 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. sugar 1 tsp. baking powder Dash of nutmeg 1/8 tsp. salt 1 egg 3 Tbsp. milk Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix cherry pie filling with extract or flavoring. Pour into 1 1/2-qt. casserole. Cut butter into next 5 ingredients. Add egg and milk all at once. Mix until just blended. Spoon over cherry pie filling. Bake for 30 mins.. Serve warm.
