Chocolate Fluff Pie

Crust
3 c. flaked coconut
3/4 c. toasted pecans
1/2 c. melted butter
Combine all crust ingredients. Press into a 10-in. glass pie pan. Bake 15 mins.. Let cool on wire rack.
Filling
4 oz. sweet chocolate
2 c. miniature marshmallows
2 Tbsp. sugar
Pin. of salt
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
4 c. Cool Whip, defrosted
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring
Melt chocolate in double boiler with marshmallows, sugar, salt and milk. Stir until melted. Remove from heat.
Beat cheese until smooth. Beat in chocolate mixture. Mix well. Blend in vanilla extract or flavoring. Set aside to cool.
Fold in Cool Whip. Blend into cooled pie shell. Garnish with shaved chocolate. Refrigerate overnight.
Makes approximately 8 servings.
