Recipe for cooking coconut praline dream pie

Coconut Praline Dream Pie

1/2 c. chopped pecans, walnuts or almonds
1/3 c. butter or butter replacement
1/3 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
1 (9-in.) baked pastry shell, cooled
2 env. Dream Whip®
2 3/4 c. cold milk, divided
1 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring
2 sm. boxes instant vanilla pudding
1 1/3 c. flaked coconut, divided

Heat pecans, butter and brown sugar in sm. saucepan until butter and sugar are melted and mixture comes to a boil. Boil exactly 30 seconds. Spread on bottom of pastry shell. Cool.

Beat whipped topping mix, 1 c. of the milk and vanilla extract or flavoring in lrg. bowl with electric mixer on high speed about 6 mins. or until topping thickens and forms peaks. Add remaining 1 3/4 c. milk and pudding mixes; blend on low speed. Beat on high speed 2 mins., scraping bowl occasionally. Stir in 1 c. of the coconut. Spoon into pastry shell.

Refrigerate at least 4 hours or until set. Garnish with remaining 1/3 c. coconut. Store leftover pie in refrigerator.
