Recipe for cooking fresh peach ice cream

Fresh Peach Ice Cream2 Tbsp. unflavored gelatin 3 c. milk, divided 2 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 6 eggs 1 1/2 c. half-and-half 1 sm. box vanilla instant pudding 1 Tbsp. plus 2 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring 4 c. crushed peaches Soften gelatin in 1/2 c. cold milk. Scald another 1 1/2 c. milk. Stir in gelatin mixture until dissolved. Add sugar, salt and remaining 1 c. milk. Beat eggs on high speed of mixer for 5 mins.. Add half-and-half, pudding mix, vanilla extract or flavoring and gelatin mixture. Blend well. Stir in peaches. Freeze in ice cream freezer according to manufacturer\s instructions. Ripen for 2 hours. Makes approximately 1 gallon.
