Recipe for cooking malted milk nut dainties

Malted Milk Nut Dainties2 c. dry malted milk 1 c. water 5 c. sugar 3 c. water 1 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring 1 c. nuts, broken Dissolve malted milk in 1 c. water. Add sugar and the three c. water which has been heated to boiling. Cook to 240 degrees F or soft ball stage. Add vanilla extract or flavoring and nuts. Beat until mixture begins to set, then pour into a buttered pan. When cool, cut into squares.
