Recipe for cooking marble cobbler

Marble Cobbler1/2 c. sugar 1 c. all-purpose flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 c. milk 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring 4 c. prepared fruit 3/4 c. sugar 1 Tbsp. margarine 3/4 c. boiling water Mix the 1/2 c. sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, milk and vanilla extract or flavoring. Pour batter into greased 13 x 9-in. pan. Sprinkle fruit over batter; add the 3/4 c. sugar over fruit. Dot with margarine and pour boiling water over all. Bake at 375 degrees F for 40 mins. or until golden brown.
