Recipe for cooking priceless pecan pie

Priceless Pecan Pie

1 (9-in.) deep dish pie crust
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/3 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring
1 c. chopped pecans
3 eggs, beaten
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

In a med. mixing bowl, blend together cream cheese, the 1/3 c. sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring until smooth. Spread into bottom of pastry shell. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.

In another med. mixing bowl, combine eggs, the 1/4 c. sugar, corn syrup, evaporated milk and 1 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring. Whisk until mixture is smooth. Pour mixture over pecan layer. Bake in preheated oven for 35 to 40 mins., until set in center.
