Sour Cream Fudge

2 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. white corn syrup
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring
1/2 c. walnuts

Mix sugar, corn syrup, butter and sour cream well. Cook over med. heat until soft-ball stage. Cool. Add vanilla extract or flavoring. Cool to room temperature.

Beat until thick. Add nuts. Pour at once into buttered platter. Do not spread. Top will be glossy and uneven. Cut into 3/4-in. squares when firm.
