Recipe for cooking sweet potato pecan pie

Sweet Potato Pecan Pie2 c. mashed sweet potatoes 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. ginger 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring 4 eggs, lightly beaten 1 c. chopped pecans 1 unbaked pie shell Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix potatoes, sugars, spices, salt and extract or flavoring. Add eggs. Combine thoroughly. Stir in pecans and pour into pie shell. Bake 45 mins., then reduce temperature to 325 degrees F and bake an additional 10 mins.. Cool and serve.
