1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring
1 tsp. lemon extract or flavoring
1 tsp. orange extract or flavoring
4 c. all-purpose flour

Combine flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. Mix just until blended after each addition. Divide dough into 4 equal portions; wrap each portion in plastic wrap. Chill at least 2 hours.

Cut with a 2 1/2-in. shaped cookie cutter, and place on greased baking sheets. Decorate with sugar, if desired. Bake at 375 degrees F for 5 to 6 mins. or until edges brown. Cool.
