Recipe for cooking toasted almond truffles

Toasted Almond Truffles1/2 c. evaporated milk 1/4 c. sugar 1 (12 ounce) pkg. milk chocolate chips 1/2 to 1 tsp. almond extract or flavoring 1 c. finely chopped almonds, toasted after chopping Combine evaporated milk and sugar in a sm., heavy saucepan. Cook over med. heat until mixture comes to a full rolling boil. Boil 3 mins., stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in chocolate chips and almond extract or flavoring until chocolate chips melt and mixture is smooth. Chill for 45 mins.. Shape into 30 (1-in.) balls. Roll in chopped almonds. Chill until ready to serve.
