Upside Down Chocolate Pudding

Pudding
1 square unsweetened chocolate
2 Tbsp. butter
1 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring
1/2 to 2/3 c. coarsely chopped nuts
Sauce
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 c. cold water
Pudding: Melt chocolate and butter, set aside.
Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk and vanilla, and then chocolate mixture. Beat until smooth. Stir in nuts. Pour the batter into an 8-in. square baking dish.
Sauce: Mix white and brown sugar and cocoa together. Sprinkle evenly over top of the pudding batter. Pour the water evenly over all. Bake at 350 degrees F for 40 to 50 mins.. Serve warm.
