Recipe for cooking White Chocolate Sheet Cake

White Chocolate Sheet Cake
1 c. butter
1 c. water
2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. sour cream
2 eggs
1 tsp. almond extract or flavoring
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
In 2-qt. saucepan bring butter and water to a boil, remove from heat. Add flour, sugar, sour cream, eggs, almond extract or flavoring, salt and baking soda. mix well. Pour into a greased 15 x 10-in. sheet cake pan.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 to 22 mins. or until cake is golden brown. Insert a wooden pick into the center. If it comes out dry, it is done (do not overbake). Let the cake cool while preparing the frosting.
Frosting
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. milk
4 1/2 c. powdered\sugar
1/2 tea. almond extract or flavoring
1 c. chopped pecans
In 2 qt. saucepan combine butter and water to a boil, remove from heat. Add confectioners\sugar and almond extract. mix well. Stir in chopped pecans, spread over warm cake.
