Homemade "Maple" Syrup1 c. sugar
1 c. packed brown sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 c. water
1/2 tsp. maple flavoring or extract or flavoring Combine granulated and brown sugar in a saucepan. Add salt and water. Bring mixture to a boil. Remove from heat. Add maple flavoring or extract or flavoring. Cool and serve. NOTE: Use any combination of granulated and/or brown sugar as long as it is two parts sugar to one part water.
