Passion Fruit Syrup8 lrg. passion fruit 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. water Halve passion fruits and scoop out pulp into a sieve. Rub through a sieve to separate juice and seeds. Discard seeds and measure juice to slightly less than half a c.. In a sm. saucepan mix sugar and water and stir to dissolve. Bring to the boil and boil for 5 to 7 mins. or until syrup spins a thread when dropped from the tines of a fork. Add passion fruit juice, return to boil and boil for 1 min.. Pour into sm., hot, sterilized bottles and seal while hot. Put into a boiling water bath for 10 mins..
