Praline Syrup2 c. dark corn syrup 1/3 c. dark brown sugar 1/2 c. water 1 c. pecan pieces 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract or flavoring Combine syrup, sugar and water in a saucepan over med. heat. Bring to a boil; boil for 1 min.. Remove from heat; stir in pecans and vanilla extract or flavoring. Pour into hot jars, leaving 1/4 in. head space. Adjust caps. Process 10 mins. in a boiling water bath. Makes approximately about 4 pt.. NOTE: If you are going to use the syrup in a fairly short period of time, make half a batch and keep in the refrigerator.
