Recipe for cooking rose hip syrup

Rose Hip Syrup 4 c. rose hips 2 c. water 1 c. sugar Wash rose hips thoroughly. Remove stems and flower remnants. Boil hips and water for 20 mins. in a covered saucepan. Strain through a jelly bag. Return clear juice to kettle. Add sugar. Stir well and boil for five mins.. Refrigerate until used.
